Autarky Capital has been founded by Yasin Patel and Shoaib Bux.
Both principals have a combined 30 years’ experience in the specialist finance market spanning Directors/Founders at Mayfair Bridging, Directors at Amicus Finance Plc and recently as Founders & Managing Directors of ASFL, the specialist finance subsidiary of the private bank Arbuthnot Latham & Co.
The principals have held multiple FCA regulatory roles within these businesses and have strong experience in all aspects of the entire lending cycle.

Our products are designed to be competitive in the market and covers the range from simple auction purchases through to large scale multi-unit construction funding. Our maximum loan size is £30m and we have the ability to consider much higher than this for the right scheme. All our lending is first charge and unregulated. We lend to individuals as well as corporates. We will consider properties in England and Wales. Interest is charged on a daily basis.
Pricing variance factors
We price each deal on risk. There is no pricing or product matrix as we look at each deal based on its own merits. We look for borrowers with noticeable experience and prefer the property is generally liquid, i.e. numerous similar homes/apartments have traded in vicinity. We structure all our loans with the borrower’s equity up-front and construction/refurbishment element is 100% funded by our loan.
